Tim Rush

Tim heads Gallagher’s Space practice in the US overseeing a small team of space risk specialists providing risk management and insurance solutions to space industry clients helping them achieve their strategies and business objectives. Tim has over 4 decades of experience managing space risks developing and executing risk management and insurance strategies for leading satellite manufacturers, operators, and launch service providers. He has designed and executed risk and insurance strategies for several leading satellite operators, government contractors, and launch service providers. Tim began his career as a satellite engineer and manager for Intelsat, Comsat and Fairchild Space Company providing technical leadership during the industry’s early development building, launching and operating commercial satellites. Tim has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master of Business Administration degree.
