Tarun Gupta

Tarun Gupta is Co-founder and Chief Business Officer of Skylo Technologies, the company
pioneering the world’s Standardized Sky – a unified, interoperable layer of connectivity that
seamlessly extends mobile networks into space.
With over 20 years of experience engineering and commercializing telecommunications
networks, Tarun brings rare end-to-end depth to Skylo: from the technical foundations of how
networks are built, to the commercial strategies that bring them to scale. At Skylo, he leads
global product, business development, and go-to-market — driving the company’s position as
the open, standards-based platform at the center of the direct-to-device ecosystem.
At Skylo, Tarun oversees product management, business development, and marketing, driving
the company’s role as the open, standards-based platform at the center of the direct-to-device
ecosystem.
Prior to co-founding Skylo, Tarun held multiple leadership roles at Google, including as Head of
Strategy and Operations for Google Assistant, and helped scale Google Fiber. Tarun holds a
BSEE from the University of Virginia, and an MS in Management from the Stanford Graduate
School of Business.
