Sho Nakanose

Sho Nakanose is the Founder and CEO of GITAI, a U.S.-based defense space company and a prime contractor for the U.S. Space Force’s Space-Based Interceptor (SBI) program. GITAI develops affordable, vertically integrated satellite systems for next-generation defense LEO constellations. Under his leadership, GITAI has raised $104 million in funding and successfully demonstrated robotic technologies both inside and outside the International Space Station, as well as its independently developed satellite platform and autonomous space technologies in orbit. Nakanose leads GITAI’s expansion across three core defense space missions: missile defense, maneuverable space combat power, and space-based sensing and observation, enabled by its vertically integrated LEO satellite constellation technologies.
