Mary Walker

Merry Walker is the co-founder and CEO of Symphony Space, a space systems company building the infrastructure layer of the new space economy. Prior to founding Symphony, Merry served as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer in 6 assignments spanning 4 continents, with a focus on critical and emerging technology policy. Merry also served as the International Science and Technology Lead at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Before her Federal Government service, Merry was an advanced energy engineer at General Motors, Boston Scientific, and GE Energy. She also founded and led an international tech incubator. Merry holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in energy systems engineering, both from the University of Michigan.
