Jeremy Hallett

Jeremy Hallett is an Australian executive with experience in semiconductors, space, defence and private capital, whose companies have a presence across Australia, the United States and Europe. He is a Found and Executive Director of Brindabella & Company (January 2024), an investment firm that mobilises private capital for technology, industrial base and strategic infrastructure investments across Australia and international markets. He is also a Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Atto Devices (March 2024), an advanced electronics company developing products vertically integrated from chip to system. He serves as Chairman of Southern Launch (March 2025), providing orbital and suborbital launch services, spacecraft re-entries and range operations. He served as Chairman of the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA), the peak body for the Australian space sector, until December 2025, having joined the board in November 2020 and previously served as Executive Chairman and Non-Executive Director. From June 2022, he chaired the Local Organising Committee for IAC 2025 in Sydney. The International Astronautical Congress is the world’s largest civil space conference; the 2025 Sydney event welcomed 8,000 delegates from 100 countries and approximately 20,000 attendees on its public day. Jeremy is regularly called upon by industry, government and media in Australia and internationally as an advisor and commentator across space, defence and deep-tech sectors. Previous advisory roles include the Board of Advisors of DroneShield (June 2022 – June 2024) and the Advisory Board of Av-Comm Space & Defence (June 2022 – November 2023). From November 2007 to March 2022, he was CEO & Managing Director of Clearbox Systems, leading technology development across satellite communications and electromagnetic spectrum management. He was also an Industry Founder of Quasar Satellite Technologies in March 2021.
