Ian Eishen

Ian Eishen is the SVP of Government at Aalyria Technologies, where he is responsible for managing and expanding Aalyria’s engagements with the U.S. and International Governments. Aalyria was spun out of Alphabet in 2022, carrying with it nearly a decade of intellectual property, patents, and engineering talent from Google’s Project Loon and its optical communications research. The company builds two flagship products: Spacetime, a temporospatial software-defined networking platform that continuously orchestrates physical and logical network topology across space, air, sea, and terrestrial domains; and Tightbeam, a coherent free-space optical communications system engineered to sustain high-capacity links through the atmosphere. In his role, Ian leads Aalyria’s pursuit strategy and capture efforts across the Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, civil space agencies, and allied partner nations, working to align the company’s commercially developed technology with government mission needs.
