Dr. Gurpartap “GP” Sandhoo

Gurpartap ‘GP’ Sandhoo, D.Sc. Director, Space Development Agency Space Force Portfolio Acquisition Executive, Missile Warning and Tracking Dr. Gurpartap “GP” Sandhoo is the Director of the Space Development Agency and the Space Force Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Missile Warning and Tracking. A national security and technology leader, his experience spans leadership roles at IARPA, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, NASA’s Johnson Space Center, and across traditional and emerging commercial organizations. He is a veteran of more than 36 years in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps, with last assignments supporting the NRO and Defense Innovation Unit. He holds doctoral and master’s degrees from George Washington University, Johns Hopkins University, and the Naval War College, and is a 2016–2017 MIT Seminar XXI Fellow.
