Courtney joined Scout Space in February 2024 and as the Chief Product Officer she drives the strategic vision for product development, ensuring that technology roadmaps align with the long-term goals of both government and commercial stakeholders. She manages the integration of innovative software and hardware solutions focused on space domain awareness (SDA), including advanced sensor systems, data analytics platforms, and artificial intelligence tools for real-time tracking and anomaly detection of space objects. Courtney has over 15 years of experience delivering advanced technological solutions within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and commercial sectors. Prior to joining Scout, Courtney was a lead Systems Engineer at Stratos Solutions where she managed acquisitions for cloud-based machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities supporting the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). These programs provided quick-reaction capabilities directly supporting warfighters across the government including National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), as well as all branches of the U.S. military and Combatant Commands. Prior to Stratos, Courtney held systems engineering and management roles at Boeing where she led multi-disciplinary engineering teams developing software applications for the IC. Courtney also worked at the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) as a spacecraft and data analyst. Courtney holds a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
