Patrick Shannon

Patrick Shannon is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of TrustPoint, the world leader in C-band GNSS technology, where he defines the company’s technical and strategic direction that underpin TrustPoint’s next-generation navigation and timing solutions. Prior to founding TrustPoint, Mr. Shannon was Vice President at Astro Digital, responsible for strategy, business development, and product management. He oversaw six satellite programs supporting IoT, broadband, and laser communications, including programs for the Space Development Agency (SDA) and OneWeb. Before that, he was Vice President of Business Development at SpaceQuest, driving company strategy, R&D, and program execution. Mr. Shannon began his career as a satellite systems engineer at Orbital Sciences, later moving into corporate strategy to support M&A. With over 20 years of experience developing commercial solutions for systems traditionally operated by governments, he holds degrees from MIT and Stanford University.
